Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer in the UK to lead the design and coordination of structures across a range of sectors, from industrial to public buildings. You will mentor engineers and BIM modellers within multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients and stakeholders on challenging projects.

The role focuses on delivering safe, sustainable solutions while supporting the growth of Arcadis' Places Design Practice across national and international assignments.

Qualifications

• Chartered engineer with IStructE or ICE.
• Existing SC clearance or eligible for clearance.
• Deep knowledge of structural principles from varied projects.
• Familiar with common structural materials and on-site use.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software.
• Commitment to health and safety and legal requirements.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
• Interest in sustainable solutions and outcomes.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Willingness to share knowledge with colleagues.
