Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our UK Structural team in London. You will own small to medium structural projects, perform analysis, design and digital modelling, and deliver reports guided by Principal Engineers.

You will work with geotechnical, hydraulic, M&E and environment peers, contribute to bids, and mentor junior staff while advancing sustainable design and low embodied carbon solutions.

Qualifications

• Honours degree and ICE/IStructE Chartered status or awaiting professional review in 2026.
• Eurocode-based design experience in concrete and steel; precast/prefabricated structures.
• Experience with ROBOT, TEDDS and MasterSeries or similar software.
• Proficiency with 3D digital tools such as REVIT and Navisworks.
• Experience leading design teams of technicians/juniors on projects.
• Track record of broad, innovative design with focus on reduced embedded CO2.

Responsibilities

• Own small to medium structural projects and supervise design work.
• Do and supervise project structural analysis, design and digital modelling.
• Prepare design models, calculations and reports; ensure safety and sustainability.
• Collaborate with geotechnical, hydraulic, M&E and environment peers.
• Support bidding, budgeting, timelines and risk assessment.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate within Arcadis Global Design Centres.
