Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership is preferred.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Experience with existing buildings assessment desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple commissions to programme and budget.

Responsibilities

• Undertake inspections, investigations and assessments of existing buildings.
• Diagnose defects, deterioration, and establish root causes.
• Assess masonry, timber, steel and concrete structures and advise remedies.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications and remedial strategies.
• Review drawings and survey data to inform conclusions.
• Liaise with clients and professionals to develop practical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project delivery.
