Job summary

Evan Craig is recruiting a Principal Civil & Structural Engineer for its Basingstoke office. You will lead technical delivery across a portfolio of civil/structural projects, mentor engineers, and liaise with clients to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires Chartered status or progression towards ICE/IStructE, strong communication, and a commitment to delivering within programme and budget. Hybrid working and generous benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven track record designing structures in a consultancy.
• Experience in buildings sectors: commercial, education, residential, healthcare.
• Ability to manage technical scopes and mentor engineers.
• Chartered status or working toward ICE/IStructE.
• Fluent English and UK right to work.
• Willing to reside near Basingstoke.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery and manage resources across projects.
