Sweco UK Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Structures team. You will manage project delivery, lead design development, perform complex structural calculations and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes mentorship, client engagement and delivering high-quality planning and construction packages. A flexible, hybrid working environment and opportunities for career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or related field (Masters preferred).
• Chartered Engineer status or close is desirable and beneficial for progression.
• Experience delivering projects and interacting with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: manage project portals, prepare reports and drawings for planning and construction, lead construction details and tender proposals.
• Design: lead design development, project coordination and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Calculations: perform detailed structural calculations using software or hand methods per codes and standards.
• Coordination & Collaboration: communicate with project team, liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies, participate in client meetings.
• Team contribution: mentor less experienced staff and lead by example.
