Qualifications

• Chartered with IStructE, ICE or international equivalent.
• Experience as structural engineer in a consultancy or similar environment.
• Good experience in steel, concrete and/or timber structural design with a solid understanding of building construction.
• Experience working on complex or technically challenging projects.
• Excellent communicator able to explain engineering principles clearly in writing, verbally or sketching.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for delivery of structural engineering design on projects matching your experience.
• Develop structural concepts and design solutions across materials and building types.
• Apply engineering judgement to solve complex problems and develop practical, buildable solutions.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other design team members.
• Take ownership of your work and contribute to project and team outcomes.
