Job summary

Ramboll in Bristol is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to lead technically complex projects and manage key client relationships within the Industry & Infrastructure Facilities (I&IF) team. You will help shape the growth and technical direction of the Bristol office while coordinating with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery and business development, with opportunities to mentor others and drive

Qualifications

Chartered with the IStructE, ICE or an international equivalent.
Significant experience delivering technically challenging structural projects.
Experience across rail, aviation, energy, manufacturing, data centres or other critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural design and delivery of technically complex projects, ensuring technical quality.
Develop structural concepts, design philosophies and innovative solutions.
Act as a technical reference and coach for other engineers.
Take responsibility for client relationships and represent Ramboll at meetings.
Collaborate with architects, contractors and other disciplines for coordinated designs.
Promote sustainable and low-carbon approaches to structural design.
Support the Bristol I&IF team development and technical capability.
Identify opportunities to improve delivery and develop services.
