Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity in Cheltenham

Our client, a respected and rapidly growing structural engineering practice, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join their new office in Cheltenham. This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director on design and coordination works, and to play a key role in establishing and shaping the future of the new office and the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and analysis of structural projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with UK regulations and standards.
2. Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to deliver innovative structural solutions across various project types.
3. Support business development and maintain relationships with key contacts and clients.
4. Assist the Managing Director with design and coordination tasks.
5. Contribute to the growth and development of the Cheltenham office.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
2. Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with IStructE, ICE, or working towards it.
3. At least 6 years of UK-based structural engineering experience managing diverse projects.
4. Proficiency in structural design software and knowledge of UK building regulations.
