Job summary

Strata Consulting in Cardiff is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Building Structures team. You will work within a talented and collaborative group, leading with clients on a range of challenging projects that impact the built environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in steel, concrete, timber and masonry, with Chartered status preferred but not essential; excellent communication and project leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with experience in steel, concrete, timber and masonry design.
• Chartered status with IStructE or ICE preferred but not essential.
• Ability to liaise with clients and contractors and deliver quality results.
• Experience leading projects from concept to completion and delivering high-quality designs.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead with clients and coordinate a team to deliver structural designs.
• Deliver high-quality design solutions across steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Manage projects from concept to completion, on time and within budget.
