Job summary

Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd in Cardiff is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to lead its Cardiff team. This senior role demands strategic leadership across people, projects and clients, while staying hands‑on when adding value.

You will manage workload, resources and client relationships, contributing to fee proposals and project strategy. The role spans multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare, aviation, energy and data centres, with hybrid working options

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering structural design projects from concept through to construction.
Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring engineers and managing workloads.
Confidence in leading client relationships and contributing to fee proposals and project strategy.
Proficiency with UK design codes and industry‑standard structural analysis software.
Experience across sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, aviation, energy, or data centres.
Chartered Engineer status with the IStructE/ICE, or close to achieving it.
A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
