Job Description

Entain’s Canada, Iberia & Latin America Region (CILA) team is seeking an Associate Director for Strategy to support regional strategy development and financial oversight. This role collaborates with multiple teams across Entain, including Digital, Product, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and leadership at various levels, to define and execute regional strategies and evaluate financial performance.

Ideal candidates are experienced Strategy professionals with a high standard of integrity, preferably with background in Strategy Consulting, eager to work in a dynamic, commercial environment. The strategy team partners with executive leadership to foster growth and innovation and reports to the regional Managing Director.

This position offers broad responsibilities, including:

1. Strategic planning & execution: Develop and implement long-term plans to enhance revenue, expand markets, and strengthen competitive positioning within CILA.
2. Market & competitive analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.
3. Business performance optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements.
4. Data-driven insights: Analyze data to inform strategic decisions.
5. Thought leadership: Contribute industry insights and perspectives on growth.
6. Strategic projects: Conduct analyses, financial modeling, and synthesize findings for executive presentations.
7. Stakeholder management: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering insights and recommendations.
8. Connect with broader org: Facilitate idea and information flow across the company.

Qualifications

• Strong undergraduate degree
• 6+ years in strategy consulting or in-house strategy roles
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Knowledge of business frameworks (value chain, competitive forces, core competencies)
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
• Excellent business writing and communication skills, with experience presenting to executives
• Interest in betting, gaming, media, technology, or entertainment industries
