Job Description

Entain’s Canada, Iberia & Latin America Region (CILA) team seeks an Associate Director for Strategy to support regional strategy development and financial oversight. This role collaborates with multiple departments, including Digital, Product, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and leadership, to define and execute regional strategies and assess financial performance.

We seek experienced Strategy professionals with high integrity, ideally with a background in Strategy Consulting, eager to work in a dynamic, commercial environment. The regional Strategy team partners with executive leadership to foster growth and innovation and reports directly to the regional Managing Director.

This exciting role within a newly formed, expanding team encompasses:

  1. Strategic planning & execution: Develop and implement long-term plans to enhance revenue, expand markets, and strengthen competitive positioning across CILA.
  2. Market & competitive analysis: Track industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.
  3. Business performance optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements.
  4. Data-driven insights: Analyze data to inform strategic decisions.
  5. Thought leadership: Contribute industry insights and growth perspectives.
  6. Strategic projects: Support high-visibility projects with analysis, financial modeling, and presentation of findings to executives.
  7. Stakeholder management: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership with insightful recommendations.
  8. Connect with broader org: Facilitate idea and information flow within the company.
Qualifications
  • Strong undergraduate degree
  • 6+ years’ experience in strategy consulting or in-house strategy roles
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Knowledge of business frameworks (e.g., value chain, competitive forces, core competencies)
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
  • Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executives
  • Interest in betting, gaming, media, technology, and entertainment industries
