Job summary

AECOM in Leeds is seeking a Senior Strategic Procurement professional to lead complex infrastructure procurement programs. You will design optimal delivery models, contract strategies, and commercial frameworks for flagship projects, collaborating with client teams to maximise value.

You will manage end-to-end procurement lifecycles, engage suppliers, run market engagements, and support bid activities. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to shape procurement services across the UKI

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience leading procurement of complex construction projects.
• Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through contract management.
• Proven project/program management experience including multiple projects concurrently.
• Awareness of standard form contracts including NEC.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality procurement advice to clients on flagship projects.
• Lead and/or support sector leading projects as procurement SME.
• Contribute to expanding service offerings and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-value multi-discipline solutions.
• Support business development and proposal activities.
