Job summary

AECOM Advisory Services is seeking a Senior Strategic Procurement professional to shape procurement strategies for major infrastructure projects in the UK&I. You will lead key procurements, guide contract strategy, and work with our client teams to maximise value across the full commercial lifecycle.

You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver best-in-class procurement advice, develop market-leading solutions, and support business development efforts while benefiting from hybrid working

Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification knowledge and experience (7+ years) leading procurement of complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to contract management and supplier engagement.
• Proven project/programme management experience across multiple projects concurrently.
• Awareness of standard form contracts including NEC guidance.
• Strong communication skills to influence and advise clients and internal teams.
• Experience in category management and contract management, including SLAs and KPIs.
• Familiarity with Public Contract Regulations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality procurement advice and support to infrastructure clients on flagship projects.
• Lead and/or support sector-leading projects as procurement SME.
• Contribute to expanding and improving the procurement service offering.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-value multi-discipline outcomes for clients.
• Support work-winning activities including proposal documentation.
