Job summary

AECOM Advisory Services is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to join our Strategic Procurement team in the UK. You will lead and advise on procurement strategy for major infrastructure projects, shaping delivery models, contract strategy and market routes to maximise value.

You will collaborate across colleagues to deliver high-value, multi-discipline solutions, challenging yourself in a market-leading business. Hybrid working options support flexible, project-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years post-qualification experience leading procurement of complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to contract management and supplier engagement.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement advice to infrastructure clients on flagship projects and lead procurement strategy.
• Manage competitive procurement processes including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender development, evaluation and negotiations.
• Advise on commercial aspects, category management and performance management.
• Support work-winning activity including proposal documentation.
• Contribute to development of AECOM’s strategic procurement service offering.
