Job summary

AECOM Limited in Leeds is seeking a Senior Procurement Consultant to deliver high‑quality procurement advisory services for major infrastructure projects. You will lead strategic procurement, design delivery models and contract strategies, and guide the competitive process from sourcing to negotiation.

The role emphasizes governance, supplier engagement, and performance management while supporting UK regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of post-qualification experience leading procurement of complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through contract management and supplier engagement.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Familiarity with a range of standard form contracts, including NEC.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence as a trusted advisor.
• Eligible to work in the UK; visa sponsorship available for qualifying foreign candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality procurement advice to infrastructure clients on flagship projects.
• Lead and support strategic procurement across programmes as the SME.
• Design delivery models, contract strategies, and routes to market.
• Manage competitive procurement processes from market engagement to negotiation.
