Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Strategic Procurement professional to join its Advisory Services team. You will provide high-quality procurement advice for major infrastructure projects, lead strategic procurement activities, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver value-driven outcomes.

You’ll help shape and expand AECOM’s procurement service offerings and support business development. You will work within a hybrid model, engaging with clients across the UK with a focus on delivering excellence

Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification knowledge and experience (7+ years) leading the procurement of complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to contract management and supplier engagement.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and influence stakeholders.
• Awareness of standard form contracts including NEC and procurement under regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement advice to infrastructure clients on flagship projects.
• Lead or support sector-leading projects as strategic procurement expert.
• Contribute to expanding service offerings and driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-value, multi-discipline outcomes.
• Support work-winning activity and proposal documentation.
