Job summary

UCL's Faculty of Brain Sciences Marketing and Communications team is seeking a Senior Communications Manager to lead strategic communications and translate research into engaging content that supports the Faculty's priorities. You will work with academic and professional services colleagues across divisions to deliver integrated campaigns and enhance the Faculty's profile.

You will report to the Head of Marketing and Communications in a permanent role starting in December, with flexible working

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering strategic communication campaigns.
• Demonstrable writing and editing skills with ability to translate complex topics.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Experience communicating complex subjects such as research or science is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the Faculty's communications function and support the Head of Marketing and Communications.
• Develop and deliver integrated communications to enhance the Faculty's profile and reputation.
• Translate research, education, innovation and enterprise into engaging content for multiple channels.
• Lead campaigns to raise awareness and support strategic objectives.
