Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a senior Strategy lead for Startup Specialist Solutions in the EMEA region. You will lead a team of Specialists working with startups, shaping the technical GTM strategy and guiding high-level stakeholder engagements.

You will interact with CxO–level executives and developers to accelerate adoption, secure lighthouse customers, and influence product roadmaps while mentoring top-tier teams in a fast-moving GenAI landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS/engineering/math or equivalent.
• Experience communicating with C-level and technical audiences.
• 10+ years in technical development, design, and customer-facing resources management.
• 7+ years in at least two of Training/ML, Accelerated Compute, Containers, Data & Analytics, Databases.
• 3+ years leading high-performance teams in matrixed orgs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support a team of Specialist Solutions Architects working with Startups in the EMEA region.
• Set the technical GTM strategy for the team, driving deep technical thought leadership.
• Interact at the CxO/VP level and with developers to drive adoption, pipeline, lighthouse customers, revenue, and partnerships.
• Become a trusted advisor within customer accounts through technical thought leadership.
• Develop and deploy programs leveraging AWS Field Solution Architect teams, partners, and channels.
• Collaborate with AWS Product/Technical teams to create scalable solutions and reference architectures.
• Develop technologists and storytellers; inspire deep-technical thought leadership across the team.
• Keep pace with GenAI developments and cross-domain cloud tech collaboration.
• Scale technical knowledge via workshops, blogs, products, and AWS Field.
• Gather Startup feedback to inform product roadmaps.
