Job description

The General Medical Ward in Dr Grays Hospital, is a 25 bedded ward with Acute Care of the Elderly beds included.

We are looking to employ band 6, Senior Staff Nurse to join the team of existing senior staff on the ward, who are able to deputise in the absence of Senior Charge Nurse. You must be reliable and hard working, have a caring, professional manner, and be motivated to deliver high standards of evidence based / patient centred care.

Excellent team working and communication skills are essential and you should be able to evidence ongoing learning and personal development during your career.

You must have minimum 2 years experience as a band 5 nurse.

The ward works 12 hours shifts, with expectation for day and night shift rotation.

This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave
