Job Opportunity: Band 6 Registered Nurse in Gynaecology, Breast, and Oncology

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Gynaecology, Breast, and Gynaecology/Oncology Acute 18-bed Surgical Ward for a Band 6 Registered Nurse, working 33.75 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide leadership for patient care delivery within ward 309 (Gynaecology and Breast).
  2. Manage the ward in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse, including staff supervision and deployment.
  3. Assess care needs, evaluate care plans, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Maintain clinical and staff governance, ensuring standards are met and upheld.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Registered on Part 1 of the UK NMC Register.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Genuine commitment to the specialties.
Additional Information:

The successful candidate may be eligible for an £8,000 relocation allowance where appropriate.

Note: If this post is within Aberdeen City Low Emission Zone, the successful applicant will be responsible for all associated costs.
