An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Registered Nurse (RN - Child Branch or RSCN) to join our innovative Community Children's Nursing team. We deliver high-quality care across NHS Grampian for children and young people with acute and chronic conditions, including end-of-life care.
We are seeking a confident, innovative nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a flexible practitioner within the community setting, a good team player, and capable of developing collaborative relationships with other health professionals, social work, education, CHAS, third-sector, and voluntary agencies. You will work autonomously, managing a caseload of children and young people, providing safe and effective care across various settings such as homes, schools, nurseries, and child development centres. Recent experience working with children and young people in acute or community settings is essential.
Ongoing professional development, clinical and safeguarding supervision, and opportunities to contribute to team development. The role requires good time management, IT skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team. You will develop strong partnership working relationships to provide seamless services and demonstrate knowledge of teaching principles.
A full induction will be provided, with opportunities for clinical and professional development in a supportive environment. Participation in service development is encouraged.
