Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Speed Programs Analyst for an 18-month FTC to own end-to-end capacity planning for High Volume Events across the EU5 Same Day network.

You will translate demand forecasts into station-level capacity plans and drive cross-functional alignment with Last Mile, Middle Mile, Operations, and partner teams. You will manage the planning calendar and governance to move from plan to ready with accountability at each milestone, measuring readiness and outcomes under

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative field as listed.
• Experience in similar technical or vocational roles.
• Advanced Excel use and statistical analysis tools, or broad MS Office experience.
• Experience building financial and operational reports and using data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau).
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder communication across teams and leadership.
• Experience identifying and resolving complex issues.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own EU5 Same Day HVE capacity planning end-to-end: demand ingestion, gaps, action tracking, readiness sign-off.
• Build and maintain station-level capacity models for Peak events with forecasting and operations teams.
• Identify capacity gaps early and drive resolution via established levers.
• Create governance mechanisms to ensure readiness milestones are met on schedule.
• Partner with Operations, Last Mile, Middle Mile, and Tech to align inputs and commitments.
• Produce data-driven recommendations for senior leadership when trade-offs arise.
• Develop post-event retrospectives to feed learnings into the next planning cycle.
