Job summary

Cornwall Council is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work across schools and settings in Cornwall. You will deliver specialist assessments, develop whole-setting support, and provide training and advisory services to improve outcomes for children with SLCN.

The role requires HCPC registration and a passion for SEND; you will manage a diary independently and work with teams within the Local Authority, NHS, and Social Care. Flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required and essential.
• Experience delivering training and consultancy within SEND.
• Specialist SLT knowledge for children and young people with SLCN.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessments and intervention for a small caseload of children.
• Produce high quality written reports and participate in peer reviews.
• Deliver whole-setting training and support for inclusive strategies.
