Hampshire County Council is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Education and Inclusion Therapy Service. You’ll deliver expert assessments and targeted input for children from early years to post-16 in mainstream settings, collaborating with schools, families and multi-agency professionals.

This term-time contract offers strong supervision, ongoing professional development and clear career pathways within NHS bands 5–8a/b, with opportunities to lead and influence

Qualifikationen

• HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience with children in education/NHS/community settings.
• Experience supporting newly qualified therapists.
• Strong governance, confidentiality and professional standards.
• Excellent communication with schools, families and professionals.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialist SLT assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with schools, families and multi-agency professionals to develop and implement support plans.
• Deliver specialist SLT input across Hampshire Local Area Partnership's Experts at Hand offer.
• Support capacity-building in schools through training and whole-school approaches.
• Provide supervision to SLTs and contribute to service development.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure standards compliance.
• Travel across Hampshire to deliver services.
