Job summary

Positive Futures Recruitment is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for a fixed-term role in England. The position requires autonomous caseload management for children aged 6 to 16 in a school setting, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must be HCPC/RCSLT registered and hold a relevant degree.

The role offers a competitive salary (£33,612–£36,899) and a permanent contract with potential flexible hours. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Registered member of RCSLT and HCPC.
• Holds a professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage a caseload of young people with complex needs in a special education setting.
• Collaborate with senior SLTs and Clinical Lead to manage workload efficiently.
• Liaise with other SLTs to ensure caseload sharing and continuity of care.
• Provide specialist assessment and treatment and maintain records per professional codes.
• Produce clear reports for Annual Review and contribute to Review meetings.
• Lead in teaching peers on speech and language therapy topics.
