Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic specialist pharmacist to work in critical care. The pharmacist will have the unique opportunity to work at a critical care unit with 24 bed at Northwick Park Hospital. The post holder will be working closely with the critical care pharmacy team at Northwick Park Hospital. The patient group is diverse taking adult medical and surgical patients who require multi-organ support; often these patients are from specialties such as St Marks Hospital gastroenterology, intestinal failure, ENT, Vascular and Head & Neck departments. We pride ourselves on a multidisciplinary approach to individual patient care.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who has extensive clinical pharmacy experience, critical care experience and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team. You will need to have excellent communication, clinical and negotiation skills, as well as experience providing training and education to a range of healthcare professionals and patients. Experience in managing individuals or team(s) is also an advantage.
