We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.
The Portland Hospital is the only private hospital in the UK dedicated to the healthcare of women and children, caring for more than 40,000 children every year. We have a spacious, modern 18-bed unit within PICU (expanded from 9 beds), equipped with the latest technology and cutting-edge treatments, all supported by our team of Consultant Paediatric Intensivists 24/7.

As a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for working across all aspects of the core pharmacy, with a main focus on PICU. Other services may include medicines management, advice and evidence-based practice to inpatients and outpatients, patient and aseptic services (note: no aseptic services at the Portland), risk management, clinical governance, quality improvement projects, and training of junior staff. This role will be ward-based with ad-hoc dispensary cover when required.
