Job summary

Muon Space seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead classified space programs for U.S. Government national security customers, spanning concept through on-orbit operations under formal government contracts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program management on complex aerospace or defense programs.
• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance or current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• U.S. citizenship required (program is ITAR-restricted).
• Experience executing U.S. Government contracts: SOW, CDRL, milestone-based structures.
• Experience working in classified environments and ownership of program security requirements.
• Domain experience with EO/IR and RF payload or mission level.

Responsibilities

• Program Execution: own the program's cost, schedule, and technical baselines; manage the integrated master schedule and cost baseline.
• Customer Interface: act as the primary interface to the Government customer; lead technical exchange meetings and ensure delivery of all contract data deliverables (CDRLs).
• Cross-Functional Leadership: direct a team across systems engineering, payload, flight software, ground processing, and mission operations.
• Security, Compliance, and Growth: execute the program under ITAR/EAR controls; support growth and capture of follow-on opportunities.
