Job summary

Banner Lane seeks a Senior Technical Programme Manager to own delivery of its most technically demanding space-intelligence programmes in a London-headquartered environment. You will translate customer requirements and R&D initiatives into structured, governed delivery, bridging IT, engineering and product teams through a fast-moving, stage-gate process.

Qualifications

Proven ability to translate customer needs into structured delivery plans.
Experience driving complex programmes from prototype to product.
Background in engineering or related technical field.
Familiarity with stage-gate governance and low-TRL projects.

Responsibilities

Decompose complex customer and internal requirements into structured work packages with clear owners and timelines.
Build and maintain plans, schedules and dependency maps for leadership visibility.
Drive release planning across parallel streams within an agile setting and stage-gate discipline.
Act as programme-management partner, maintaining a single R&D portfolio register.
Own day-to-day delivery relationships with customers and keep them informed on schedule, status and risk.
Contribute to bids with programme and systems content and insights into bid evaluation.
Collaborate with software leads and Principal Systems Engineer to deliver across streams.
Carry multiple programmes from day one, including AI/ML-enabled systems and space-domain work.
