The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support and coach your team to excel, drive restaurant performance, and deliver exceptional results.

What You Bring:

  • Focus on creating a caring, listening environment, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent, role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Dedicated to delivering excellent guest experiences, ensuring dishes meet high standards and your team is equipped with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Experience in maintaining impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understanding kitchen financials, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Ability to build a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and development, fostering growth within your team.
  • A proactive problem solver, quick thinker, and decisive leader.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to have caring, honest conversations, ensuring your team feels supported.
  • Proven experience in maintaining high standards of food, safety, and financial performance, including GP and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
