The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support ongoing coaching and development of your team, driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, nurturing talent, and role-modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensuring an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintaining impeccable food, health, and safety standards; understanding financial metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs; proactively spotting opportunities.
  • Building a coaching culture within your team, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Being a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions, and thinking on your feet.
