The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent.
• Ensuring an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team development.
• Maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards, understanding financial metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
• Building a coaching culture within your team, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development, and fostering professional growth.
• Being a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions, and thinking on your feet.

What we look for:

• Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, capable of having considerate and supportive conversations.
• Experience ensuring food safety and hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of financial performance, including gross profit and stock control.
• Ability to manage labor costs and react to changing demands.
• Leadership qualities that inspire and engage team members.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful environment.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
