Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support ongoing coaching and development of your team, drive restaurant performance, and ensure exceptional results.

Responsibilities include |

  • Creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensuring an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Managing kitchen standards related to food safety, health and safety, and financial performance, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Building a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef to recruit and develop your team.
  • Problem-solving and making quick, informed decisions.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards in food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of financial aspects like gross profit and stock management.
