Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you'll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to reach their potential while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You Bring:
  • Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent.
  • Dedication to ensuring an excellent guest experience, with dishes prepared to exceptional standards.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food, health, and safety, and understanding financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Ability to build a coaching culture within your team, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and development.
  • Forward-thinking problem-solving skills and quick decision-making abilities.
What We Look For:
  • Experience leading a kitchen team as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring approach.
  • Proven experience in food safety, health, and safety standards.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labour costs effectively.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and belongs.
