We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Wagamama, a company that celebrates individuality and diversity across over 165 restaurants. We value personality over perfection and aim to nourish from bowl to soul.

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development, driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards; understand financial performance including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, involved in recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Be a forward-thinking problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.
