Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensuring food quality and presentation meet standards
- Maintaining a positive team environment through meetings, incentives, and recognition
- Conducting inductions for new starters
- Managing Sous Chefs to ensure training standards
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment
- Collaborating with kitchen staff and management for timely service
- Handling customer complaints related to food quality or service
- Treating everyone with respect and maintaining composure
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, capable of multitasking
- Proactive self-starter, able to work independently with good judgment
