Job summary

Just Chefs in London is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join a prestigious 5 Star Hotel. You’ll help run the kitchen and ensure high standards across banqueting, room service and all-day dining.

You’ll lead and train a team of chefs, work between kitchens, and partner with department heads to uphold the brand's values. HACCP, food safety and health and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Sous Chef in a multi-outlet, high-end hotel is essential.
• Proven ability to train and retain a chefteam.
• Sound knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.

Job description

A new opportunity has become available for a Senior Sous Chef to join a 5 Star Hotel, which is part of a global group.

As Senior Sous Chef, you'll be instrumental in the overall running of the kitchen, helping to ensure the exceptional standards and continuing an excellent reputation that’s already been built.

This role will largely involve overseeing the culinary offering for Banqueting, Room Service and the All-Day Dining Restaurant.

The Person

Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef (or a Sous Chef ready for progression) within a multi-outlet high-end hotel is essential.

An inspiring leader who will help to develop, train and help to retain a team of Chefs, working between different kitchens. The desire to positively promote the company values and work collaboratively with departmental leadership team.

Sound financial awareness, proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
