Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with one of England's most popular private estates in West Sussex, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef to join its team.

This is an exciting chance to help lead the day-to-day food operation of the main house, working alongside the Head Chef and management team to deliver an exceptional quintessentially British dining experience. You'll work with the very best locally sourced organic produce, including award-winning meats and cheese fresh from the estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll help lead a varied and creative food operation across the estate.
• Help lead and develop the kitchen team.
• Support the day-to-day food operation of the main house.
• Create menus for banquets of up to 1,000 guests, private parties, bespoke weddings, and afternoon teas.
• Use high-quality, locally sourced organic produce.
• Work with the wider team to deliver exceptional client satisfaction.

What we’re looking for:

• You’ll need strong culinary skills, experience in similar high-volume events roles, and the ability to communicate effectively with the wider team.
• Experience working in high-volume events environments.
• Excellent culinary skills and a strong understanding of quality food production.
• A confident and effective communicator.
• A strong eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
