Goodwood Estate is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will support the Head Chef, lead a kitchen, and help deliver exceptional dining experiences across a range of events at the estate.

You will develop innovative, seasonal menus, mentor staff, and contribute to showcasing Sussex produce. Excellent organisation, communication, and composure under pressure are essential for success in this role.

We're looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Supporting the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding dining experiences across our events, developing exciting menus, nurturing culinary talent, and helping to showcase the very best of Sussex produce.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working as a Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef, or in a similar leadership role within a high-quality kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of fresh ingredients, food preparation and service standards.
• A passion for creating innovative, seasonal dishes.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a kitchen team.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• A calm, proactive approach and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery and a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
