Job summary

SS8 Networks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead pre-sales across LEA, IC, and CSP segments in the UK and EMEA. You will translate complex mission needs into deployable, scalable solutions and act as the primary technical representative to customers.

You will partner with sales, product, and delivery teams to drive technical wins, design architectures, and ensure regulatory and operational alignment. Travel up to 60% is required.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in solution and systems engineering, sales engineering, or related fields.
• Ability to size and design high-capacity, mission-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of telecom architectures and signaling protocols (3G/4G/LTE‑EPC, 5G Core).
• Experience with lawful intercept frameworks and data collection pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to gather mission requirements across lawful intercept, location intelligence, and data analytics.
• Design and deliver end-to-end solutions for telecom networks, data collection, mediation, analytics and visualization platforms.
• Own the technical sales cycle: architecture, positioning, demos, POCs, and RFP/RFI responses with differentiated approaches.
• Translate customer needs into concrete system designs and challenge unrealistic requests.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to LEA/IC/telecom stakeholders and present to engineers and executives.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to drive technical wins and align with compliance requirements.
• Create proposals, quotes, SOWs and technical documentation; support competitive positioning.
