Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Engineer to advise on architecture, administration, and security of Databricks deployments across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

You will guide enterprise customers through full lifecycle from design to production deployment, architecting secure, scalable solutions with a focus on IAM, networking, and platform administration. Strong Python/PySpark skills and a track record in data architectures are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on role.
• Strong expertise in cloud security controls, IAM, networking, and compliance.
• Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation/CDK) for complex cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark with live coding and debugging.
• Distributed data systems architecture including lakehouse patterns.

Responsibilities

• Guide enterprise customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks deployments across cloud platforms.
• Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments with complex networking and identity requirements.
• Act as a technical specialist in cloud infra, IaC, networking, and identity management.
• Support technical wins by demonstrating differentiators through custom-built solutions.
• Collaborate with DSAs, SAs, FDE, and partners to address complex customer needs.
• Operate with growing autonomy on well-scoped engagements with senior guidance.
• Provide structured feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps.
