Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Engineer to guide enterprise customers through the architecture, administration, and security of their Databricks deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

You will design secure, scalable cloud environments, leverage IaC for automation, and partner with cross‑functional teams to demonstrate value, ensure production readiness, and support customers from design through deployment.

Qualifications

4+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on technical roles.
Strong coding proficiency in Python and PySpark.
Experience with IaC tools to build and maintain cloud environments.
Cloud security, networking, identity management knowledge.
Excellent communication for technical and executive audiences.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

Guide enterprise customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks deployments on their cloud platform.
Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments meeting complex networking and identity needs.
Serve as a technical specialist in cloud infrastructure, IaC, networking, and identity management.
Support technical wins by demonstrating differentiation with custom solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex customer needs.
Operate with growing autonomy on scoped engagements with senior guidance.
Influence product direction with structured feedback on requirements and gaps.
