Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to own the technical strategy for customers, driving platform adoption and serving as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads. You will lead architecture discussions and design scalable, production-grade solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics.

The role requires strong Python/SQL skills, cloud deployment experience, and excellent communication to translate technical value to business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS, engineering, or a quantitative field.
• 6+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent senior technical role.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging.
• Experience with production cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and governance.
• Excellent communication translating complex architectures to business value.
• Strong leadership in architecture discussions and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics.
• Advise customer architects and engineers; drive platform adoption and growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Provide feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps.
