Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead our most strategic customer engagements in the UK. You will own executive-level relationships, drive consumption strategy, and act as the definitive technical authority across accounts.

You will mentor SAs, shape platform adoption, and collaborate across DSAs, SSAs, partners, and product teams to deliver enterprise-grade data/AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent senior technical role.
• Expert-level coding proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark.
• Deep enterprise data architecture experience: distributed systems, streaming, lakehouse design.
• Expert Databricks Platform knowledge or depth in similar platforms.
• Declared technical specialization with executive-level impact.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical and consumption strategy for complex customer engagements.
• Own senior-level technical relationships and act as trusted advisor on data/AI strategy.
• Lead complex architecture engagements (multi-workload platforms, migrations, real-time systems).
• Mentor junior SAs and contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership.
• Develop competitive strategies and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
