Job summary

Clifton Search is assisting a global organisation in appointing a Senior Sole Counsel in the United Kingdom. The role will be the lead lawyer for a newly acquired part of the group and report to the globally based CEO.

It requires a hands-on approach across the business and interaction with teams worldwide. The candidate should be a UK-qualified solicitor with senior leadership experience in a Software/Tech environment, plus international contract exposure and data protection/regulatory strategy

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor with senior/lead experience.
• Experience advising in software/tech environments.
• Familiar with international contracts and data protection regimes.

Responsibilities

• Provide full legal leadership for the newly acquired organisation.
• Negotiate and lead on a wide range of commercial contracts.
