Job summary

Clifton Search is seeking a Senior Sole Counsel for a newly acquired part of the group. The role is UK-based and highly autonomous, reporting to the globally-based CEO. You will lead across commercial contracts and international matters in a borderless, global environment.

The ideal candidate is a UK Qualified Solicitor with senior leadership experience, having worked in a Software/Tech setting, and possesses strong negotiation skills. US experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• UK qualified solicitor with senior/lead experience.
• International experience in a Software/Tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Full legal responsibility across the newly acquired organisation.
• Advising, negotiating and leading on a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Lead on international contracts or contracts under foreign laws.
• Negotiate high-value contracts with customers.
• Advise on software licensing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS.
• Oversee global data protection issues and privacy compliance.
