Job summary

BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited is seeking an experienced Lead Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of utility-scale solar assets from our Milton Keynes office.

You will lead a team of Asset Managers and coordinate with clients, internal colleagues and external contractors to maximise asset performance, contractual compliance and long-term value. The role blends technical, commercial and leadership responsibilities, requiring proactive client management, continuous improvement and strong

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing technical operations of solar assets or similar technologies.
• Understanding of solar technology, solar farm operations, and UK HSE legislation.
• Ability to read, interpret and enforce contracts and manage O&M agreements.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for clients and site owners; lead client performance reviews.
• Take ownership of a portfolio of solar assets and coordinate internal/external teams to maximise production.
• Manage all O&M contracts, service agreements and contractual obligations.
• Support annual OPEX budgeting, cost monitoring and expenditure approvals.
• Lead and develop the Asset Management team; promote collaboration and professional development.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
