Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (Software) in Luton to bridge systems engineering and software development for aerospace products. You will design and integrate software, perform testing, and report progress to customers and partners.

Qualifications

• A science, maths, or engineering-based degree, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering software-heavy systems, ideally in regulated environments.
• Experience with DevOps to deliver software products and MBSE/UML.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements with stakeholders for new systems and software.
• Architect software systems and perform trade-off analyses.
• Lead technical activities and mentor other engineers.
• Create technical reports and deliver proposals to customers.
