Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Luton is seeking experienced Lead Software Engineers to take on pivotal Technical Authority roles within our EW and Future Combat Air programmes. You will define software architecture and set the technical direction for critical components and projects.

You will ensure DO-178C compliance across the lifecycle from requirements to certification, mentor engineers, and collaborate closely with systems, hardware and firmware teams to deliver coherent integration.

Qualifications

• Extensive embedded software engineering experience in aerospace/defence or mission-critical domains.
• Ability to set technical direction and define software architecture aligned with system goals.
• Experience ensuring DO-178C compliance and governing processes.

Responsibilities
